Connect your account

For the Warden

Add the Kettlewright app to your Discord server.
Connect your Discord account to Kettlewright using the button above. You must own the party in Kettlewright and have Manage Channels or Administrator permission in Discord.
In each channel you want to use, run /kw bind and select your party. Bind each channel separately.

For players

Connect your Discord account to Kettlewright using the button above. Your character must belong to the party bound to the channel.
In a bound channel, run /kw select and choose one of your characters from the list. Your choice is personal to you in that channel.

Discord commands

Command	What it does
`/kw login`	Shows a private link to connect your Discord account to Kettlewright.
`/kw bind party:…`	Warden only: binds the current channel to one of your parties. Requires Manage Channels or Administrator permission. Binding again clears character selections in this channel.
`/kw unbind`	Warden only: removes the current channel’s party binding and clears its character selections. Requires Manage Channels or Administrator permission.
`/kw select character:…`	Selects one of your characters in this channel’s party. The selection applies only to you in this channel.
`/kw character`	Shows your selected character’s current stats, HP, armor, conditions and sheet link in the channel.
`/kw party`	Shows the party roster and current stats in the channel. Use /kw party page:2 for another page.
`/kw roll dice:d20`	Rolls for your selected character and posts the result in the channel and Kettlewright party history. Also accepts 2d6 or d6+d8; at most two dice of types d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 or d100.
`/kw roll`	Opens private dice buttons for your selected character. Tap to roll on mobile; results appear in the channel and KW history.
`/kw stat stat:hp value:-2`	Changes your current HP, STR, DEX or WIL. Use mode:set to set a value instead. Values must stay between zero and the maximum.
`/kw condition condition:deprived active:true`	Applies or clears Deprived or Panicked on your character. Use active:false to clear a condition.
`/kw fatigue amount:1`	Adds Fatigue to your main inventory if it fits. Use /kw remove to clear Fatigue.
`/kw inventory`	Privately lists your items, containers and remaining uses or charges. Use page:2 for more.
`/kw add name:Torch`	Adds a catalog or custom item to your inventory. Supports container, tags, uses, charges and description. Does not spend gold.
`/kw use item:Torch`	Spends one use. Supports amount and resource:charges. Add remove-empty:true to remove an exhausted item.
`/kw remove item:…`	Permanently removes one of your items. Choose it from autocomplete.
`/kw drop item:… place:…`	Leaves an item in the party’s on the ground container. You must describe where you left it.
`/kw drop-container container:… place:…`	Leaves a container and its contents on the ground. The main inventory cannot be dropped.
`/kw ground`	Lists the party’s dropped items and containers with their locations.
`/kw pickup item:…`	Picks up an item or restores a container with its contents to your selected character. Checks space before picking up.
`/kw move item:… container:…`	Moves an item between your personal containers.
`/kw transfer item:… character:…`	Gives one of your items to another character in this party if their main inventory has room.
`/kw note text:…`	Appends to your character notes without replacing existing text. The note is not posted to Discord.

Character cards, party summaries and rolls are visible to everyone who can read the channel. Account connection, binding, selection and error messages are private to you.

Sheet actions only affect your own selected character. Their confirmations, inventory lists and dice panels are private. Changes are saved in KW; reload an open character sheet to see them.
